LOST SOULS by Dean Koontz

Hardcover

May 25, 2010

It is in hardcover. I'm hoping it is a compilation of all three. Not sure why it would be called that though. I'm kinda disappointed that he would make a fourth book in the series, so hopefully it's more of a standalone set in that universe. LOST SOULS, could be a redemption story of Jocko/Erika or the people at the dump. This is all speculation. You know what they say about speculation. It makes a spec out of you and some guy named lation, which has nothing to do with me.

Hmm if he was gonna write another frankenstein book I would have figured it would have been released as a paperback like the others were. Guess we'll find out later when more details come out.

A Standalone set in the Frankenstien universe would be better then him continuing the main story.

THERE'S GOING TO BE A FOURTH!??!!??!?!?!

AHHH! See?! I told you guys I had a feeling...

I'm totally and completely stoked. So you think it will be about Jocko and Erika and all that jazz? Is there anywhere to find information on this? Not that I don't trust you, I'm just curious to know where you found this...AND DIDN'T TELL ME! Well, I guess technically you just did.

No way, MATTattack...this is so exciting.

I have to imagine that any fourth installment in the series would follow the same new paperback format as the original three.

I am nearly positive that this is a compilation of the three books and NOT a fourth all-new book. I remember there being talk from DK himself about doing a hardcover anthology of the books around the time of the second book's publication. It'll be long enough after the final book's release.

And besides, it took him long enough to write the third book, so at that rate he wouldn't be able to get a fourth one off in another five or six years!

This is so true *sigh* why didn't I think of this before? It's okay though...it ended perfectly enough how it was! I was just holding out hope hehe

WEll most shopping sites have it listed (Amazon, borders, etc) all label it as a hardcover and being betwen $28-$35 in price.

They did leave it open sorta, tho the way though if he continued it would kind of ruin the happy-ish ending the goodguys had.

I'll take a 4th book! I want more of Erica and Jocko. What would DK do about that "place" Deucalion ended up in at the end?
I am inclined to believe in parallel worlds filled with darkbound Snow and Odd adventures.

It would be nice, but the way it ended kinda sounded like it was pretty much gonna be the end even tho the Helios clone was still out there.

Maybe it'll be a collection of more of the comics. Like maybe they're coming out with the next batch of Frankenstein comics in the months before that release and thats just a hardcover release of the comics.
