We've had a sudden rush of new members signing up, which is great!

I thought it might be a good idea to ask everyone how they found out about the DKC. This will give me a better idea of how to promote the forum better and get more and more Koontz fans aware of us.

So I would appreciate everyone just dropping into this thread and letting us all know what path you took to get here.

I was on myspace, and I am friends with the Dean Koontz Fanspace and Chris has a link on his page to this page, so hear I am. I started reading Koontz books about 7 years ago and fell in love with his work. I am currently reading The Darkest Evening of the Year. Thank you for this web page I always look foward to news on Dean.

Yeah, i was led here by the Dean Koontz Fanspace blog as well.

Nope. I didn't miss it. In fact I knew right away where the new folks were coming from. But I wanted to have this thread here for everyone who stops by just to know where best to promote the DKC. For example I know Flibrarian linked here from the Wikipedia link I posted on the Koontz page there.

What's interesting is I tried to post a link there once for the Fanspace, and someone went in and deleted it. I haven't bothered to put it back since.

Sometime wikipedia up and deletes the stuff automatically, i made a fanpage for a different author and had to re-enter it a couple times before wikipedia would let it be on there. Kept claiming it was SPAM or something.
